Tunnel lamp 2015
Inspired by movement of train lights through subway tunnels, the lamp plays with the properties of a movable light source within a confined space.
Featuring an innovative magnetic track which the light globe slides along, it is designed to produce variable lighting conditions. The movement of a light globe within the body of lamp is achieved through manually moving the magnetic brass knob along the channel on the outside of the lamp.
The brass knob stored at the base of the lamp activates the light when it is placed within the channel producing an ambient glow, As it moves up the channel it turns into a more direct light.
